Wednesday Weekly Whinge: Should I be putting this person on blast or what?

Why is it that I rarely use Facebook and Instagram these days?  I don't even like using Linked In anymore like before.  I get so few likes for any *nice* posts I make, while people are quick to take a big psychological *dump* on me because I say the wrong things (and often at the wrong time too - think back to between 2014 and 2016 especially when Trump won).  That was the downfall of Facebook (when Trump won).  I don't blame him (Trump) personally, quite the opposite - it was a reminder that the world is not your 'safe space', and that the real 'safe space' was for those that made the most noise and wreaked the most havoc (and caused the *most* embarrassment to others while not wanting to be embarrassed themselves).  It also taught me that not everyone gets what they want, and they have to deal with it.

Another site that existed but doesn't now was Google +.  I was first on that site at around about 2012-13.  Maybe a bit before then.  Prior to that, it was Yahoo 360.  After 360 collapsed, I went to Google and Blogger, and then YouTube, where I started up my YouTube channel (Col Sedgo 67).

This brings me to the next rant and I shouldn't even be obsessing about people, but here I am again.

This person says his 'Ex-girlfriend is an alcoholic'  Thankfully, the individual concerned didn't name names but what bothers me is that this young man is pretty embarrassing, saying what ethnicity she is, what she does for a living and even what city she lives in.  Complete cringe!!!  Like seriously, what if that girl gets wind of what he just said and decides to put him on blast?  It would be interesting to see her response.  Or maybe she doesn't care, but yeah, hard not to feel some kind of 2nd hand embarrassment for these people.

That's not as bad, however, as what this individual has said about people in the past, including a Chinese man that lived in the USA, and an Anglo-Australian man, as well as a White (Anglo-American girl) who even happened to live in a nearby city next to his home town.  Well, I could understand why he might not like the (presumably) White girl - she supposedly did some heinous things to some other people and I really hope she got taken to task on what she was accused of.  But then he was accusing the two others of being 'racist' when I failed to see any proof of anything 'racist'.  And that's really sad, because it's almost like he sees 'racism' where there is none (or where the evidence is so minuscule that one cannot pin point what specifically was said).

So yeah, he gets with one of his own and he's treated no better (so something's going on that I probably don't know about - not that I really need to know, I guess)????

TBH, though, he is still entitled to his own preferences, which is fine (obviously an in-group preference) but maybe choose a bit more wisely.

Anyhooo, enough said I won't go on about it because I would hope the person grows up and grows out of h8ing White people etc, because I am sure he would go on to do good things for people in his community etc.

cheers,

Night Owl

PS He has more followers than me on YouTube, so I think he has a responsibility to not drag people through the coals when they don't need to be. That includes ex-girlfriends - if you were victimized by someone, then please get help.  There's plenty of help available, you just have to know where to look.
