I first heard about this from Info-wars and then from Mark Dice (I often go to these sources first, if not earlier, because I find them really amusing more than anything), and then I found this article on the Conservative Tribune, explaining why the current Trump Administration and White House revoked Acosta's permit to be in the White House. Sarah Huckabee-Sanders explains it quite clearly in both her tweets, which were then posted in the Conservative Tribune (Western Journal). Here is what she (and the Conservative Tribune) had to say:
Everybody Knows Acosta’s Banned, But Not Everybody Knows What Sarah Said About It

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders perfectly explained on Twitter Wednesday evening why CNN reporter Jim Acosta had his White House press pass revoked.
After the dust settled Wednesday evening, and everybody was already talking about Acosta’s misconduct during President Donald Trump’s news conference, Sanders carefully outlined the situation and explained why his press pass was revoked.
“President Trump believes in a free press and expects and welcomes tough questions of him and his Administration,” Sanders prefaced on Twitter, “We will, however, never tolerate a reporter placing his hands on a young woman just trying to do her job as a White House intern.”
Acosta, the reporter in question, responded with, “This is a lie.”
However, video evidence shows Acosta chopping the woman’s arm.
Sanders went on to condemn Acosta’s conduct.
That’s true. Acosta always tries to make a spectacle of himself during White House events and news conferences, and it’s completely disrespectful to other reporters who want to ask questions.
However, as Sanders pointed out, that is not going to stop CNN from falsely claiming Trump is against freedom of the press.
“There is no greater demonstration of the President’s support for a free press than the event he held today. Only they would attack the President for not supporting a free press in the midst of him taking 68 questions from 35 different reporters over the course of 1.5 hours including several from the reporter in question,” Sanders continued.
Sanders is once again spot-on. This isn’t the first time she has shut down Acosta, but it’s still just as satisfying each time.
She delivered the final blow by announcing the White House’s decision to revoke Acosta’s press pass.
“As a result of today’s incident, the White House is suspending the hard pass of the reporter involved until further notice,” Sanders said.
Sanders never fails to disappoint as a brilliant press secretary.
In my opinion, Trump may have been a bit 'rude' and snappy, but I have also seen the main snippet of this conversation, where Acosta was (according to how I see it) hogging the microphone and not letting other reporters have a turn. Then he had the gall to push away the White House intern trying to do her job, by getting the mike back and letting someone else speak.
I would also snap at someone too if someone kept interrupting him and not letting others have their say. Also, he wouldn't listen to the POTUS's explanation regarding the border walls, immigration and alleged racism. Here is the video link: Everybody Knows Acosta’s Banned, But Not Everybody Knows What Sarah Said About It. Also, here is the video showing footage of Acosta, a male, pushing away the intern who tried to take the mike back off him. It is on Twitter.
It not only makes me understand how the POTUS might be justified in his response, as well understand why Acosta had his pass into the White House revoked; but it also makes me question a narrative which I used to strongly believe in (that sexism, disrespect and capitalism are somehow related) that is becoming increasingly commonplace (a.k.a 'Cultural Marxism).
I don't want to crap on every single 'Marxist' or 'Leftist' there is, because I don't believe every single one of them is like that (particularly journalists who adopt this narrative). But in the case of CNN and Jim Acosta, there needs to be some give and take on his part. Sure, ask questions, but give the other person a chance to answer them. Trump (love or hate him), had limited time during (or after) his speech, as did Sarah Huckabee-Sanders and others that were there to take questions during (or after) their speeches.
That is clearly what Acosta failed to do - give and take. And that (in my humble opinion) makes him the real bully. Perhaps if he listened, he may have kept his White House pass, and thus avoid such an incident in the future.
(no) cheers,
