Ben Shapiro REACTS To Feud Between Laura Ingraham And David Hogg

Why I disagree with David Hogg:  I am annoyed with the way he has labelled his opponents as 'child murders', and calling for boycotts of Laura Ingram's advertisers.

I am also annoyed with the way he is playing the 'love thy neighbour' card, as well as both saying he is a child and 'not a child' - well, you can't be both.

I can understand the hurt he may feel when she did comment about his being rejected by the universities he had applied for; and if he was a witness to the shooting, I am trying to discount the pain or the grief he might be feeling.

However, he has used his platform to discredit and demonise others for having other people for having different opinions and/or political agendas - and this is the point Mr Shapiro is making.  That is so wrong.

Everyone gets rejected from colleges and jobs they may have applied for - or they may have witnessed incidents that warrant an emergency response.

I too have been rejected from places at universities, jobs, TAFE colleges and the like.  I have also been made fun of.  And although I have witnessed no massacres, I have witnessed incidents which may have involved responses from emergency services like the police, fire brigade or ambulance.

We all deal with grief, loss and trauma in different ways.  But I don't demand an apology and refuse to accept it and then take it a step further by calling for a boycott on certain things - that would make me a worse 'bully' than the person who has hurt my feelings in the first place.

But then again, I am not him, so what would I know.

Anyway, rant over.

cheers,

Night Owl
