Mr Personality

Are some people really that unfairly maligned or do they bring it on themselves?

In this instance, we have a technician who we like to call Mr Personality (simply because he has *none*) :). In most instances, the technical staff in our workplace are fairly easy going and happy to help. However, there is this particularly surly one who obviously doesn't like his job and that's him. The guy, despite having been an ex-footballer, is definitely *not* a team player.

And yet the job should be good for someone like him who is not particularly sociable - he can hide in his 'office' for much of the night, go out for a smoke, and pretty much run his own race if he wanted to. Unless, of course, he is called and then he doesn't like it :/

But other than that, what more does he want? To hide away the *whole* time? For his shift to be one big long 'smoko'? Bloody hell!!!

And then when he is called to do some task, he'll treat of the processing staff like he's doing them a favour, and even resorts to verbally abusing them if it is someone he doesn't like!!!!

I think if he's not happy in his job, he should try and look for another one, or better still, retire before things get any worse, instead of hanging around and making everyone else miserable like him!!! Give some one else (that is not anti social) the chance to take the job :p

Anyway, it's nearly 1/4 past 5, so now it's time for 'beddy byes'.

Cheers,
Night Owl
